Tusken Raider Bust
The Tusken Raider bust is a highly detailed 3D printed model kit. He is available in either 1/4 scale or 1/2 scale.
My primary focus with this project was to try and capture the likeness of the Tusken Raider played by Peter Diamond in the original Star Wars. He was the one that attacked Luke and was featured in most of the movie stills. He had a distinctive look/head shape that I always liked and wanted to capture in my sculpt. There have been several Raiders featured throughout the many films and spinoffs, but they never look quite "right" to me.
I think this is going to be really fun to paint. There are just so many materials and textures packed in there. Several layers of washes and some dry-brushing will really bring out those details and should make this a stunning piece for your collection.
I don't think you necessarily even have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy this one.
